Way too high bud...Unless it is VERY clean or has a ton of worthwile mods you won't see much more than $1000 for a shell, even with a carbon fiber hood and decent coilovers. Good luck!

i backed down because it has an aftermarket sunroof, and a dent in a panel that would have to be cut and a patch welded.

i need something with a straight body.

I found an eg hatch shell with itr dash custom door panels for 900 bucks, all the body needed was paint on the quarters, which in a bodymans opinion isnt hard to do, im sorry but this shell is just too far gone, its obviously been in a hit because the hood fits like **** to the bumper, theres urethane goo all around the sunroof, this is a project dreamers nightmare, just keep it for yourself and do something with it, id be surprised if someone gave 700 with all the extra goods

 

hahah. The hood doesn't fit properly because i didn't put the 10mm bolts on. i took pics right when I ripped the motor out. I am glad you found yourself a car that needs paint.

Paint the rear of the car with "fresh" paint and have the rest of the car not blend in. The pictures dont do justice. To top it all off, I have a local buyer interested as the car sits for 1500.00

Suspension
Lower control arms 700
Paint was 1000
Rims 200

It adds up. If you dont like the car keep moving forward, no hurt feelings except stupid comments.

If the painter was a tard and couldnt blend then yeah, it wouldnt look right, but please dont tell me about how autobody works since ive been in a shop for almost 6 years and counting, and you paid 700 for lca's? are they made out of solid gold? i thought you said the suspension was 900 bucks brand new? hm

I am selling a car if you dont like it move forward. The cars body is in great shape, there is no rust. I took pics with an iphone. Yes there is a dent that needs to be replaced, but why not start room for negotiation with a high price?

The suspension coilovers were 700 new. The lower control arms where another 200+.

It just comes to the main thing, stupidity, why the hell are you telling me about another car when I am trying to sell. Do me a favor and leave the thread alone you palm pilot

Lol I never said I know it all, I just know more than you You also said let me know when you find an eg shell for 700, I did you one better and found one with at least $500 into custom fiberglassing the door panels so the ITR dash fit, so dont backtrack and wonder why I'm telling you about another car when plain as day you said it.
