I've actually thought about doing an F2B in a tegg,y just to be unigue. But I'm stuck dumping money on my lude.

The F20B is kind of a weird motor; it has an H22 head with a F-series block. So you have the iron sleeves to play with, instead of the H-series FRM sleeves. Everything in the head is interchangable with an H22. Along with headers, intake manifolds; everything on the top-end.

For the block I'm not 100% sure. It all depends on what main bearing size for the crank and no one makes F20 specific pistons or rods.

Which is the only one you have seen?

First of all, you are talking to one that has a high comp built 2.2 F20B. Golden Eagle sleeved, custom 88mm 12.7:1 CP pistons on Eagle off the shelf 5.862" rods
(F20B motors have B16 rod journals if you didnt know.)
Main journals 55mm (same as an H22a4)

The PCB head can accept H22 cams, springs and retainers but NOT the intake valves (since i built and measured everything on mine, i should know) 30mm exhaust valves and 34mm intake (H22 has 35mm intake) Intake and exhaust manifolds are interchangeable

Technically if you sleeved it, you can use H22 pistons that start at 87mm since they have the same deck height on the block as the F20B, wrist pin size and so forth. Since people dont use the F20B and especially since it wasnt offered statewide companies didnt bother.

Also its block is an H series not an F series.... uses all the timing components an H series uses and a similar oil pump (mines uses an H22 Circuitworx oil pump gear) Basically its an H22a4 block with 85mm cylinder bore and no oil squirters/oil cooler thats the best way to describe it

Do you know what the Comp height was on those pistons to make it work with the b-series long rod. I'm mostly just wondering how much it affects the ring package placement and if the oil ring now passes threw the pin area. I'm thinking about putting together a turbo version of this motor 88x88 10.5:1 comp and a 6767 to compete in true street with.

I dont know off the top of my head the comp height (gotta grab the spec sheet) but because i had the pistons custom made the pin is offset and because it uses the B series 5.862 rod it also uses its smaller .708 piston pin (lighter and could further be offset) compared to the H series pin.

Everything fit perfect and the rotating assembly spins nice and free. I still have my 85mm pistons so if i dont find the spec sheet for my 88mm i have the 85mm sheet for sure and no the oil ring did not pass through the pin area.

HEY! I was planning to do a turbo version of my motor too! But I'll be using an Xcessive K series manifold on that one (Im using an RRC K series mani on this setup and will post dyno sheets by no later than June when it is complete)......
