Ok to not have the top of the fuel injectors?
Since I've been scrambling to put together my Greddy Turbo kit by this weekend to have it installed, i was still in need of a Blue BOx and some 310-320 injectors. Well I think I just bought the blue blox, but I found a local down here who has some 310 injectors out of his Integra, the only thing is one of the injectors the "green top" is missing. He assures me that it is only used to evenly spray the gas and tells me it's not necessary. Is that true?
Also, could I just rip the top off my stock injectors or maybe the 450's I have and put that in place of it?
one more questions, how can I tell if these are 310's or just stock injectors? Size?
the only numbers i see are inp-018 & mdl450

The way in which the fuel sprays inside the cylinder, and even the location of the fuel burn within the cylinder, can indeed affect emissions, power, fuel efficiency, carbon build-up, etc. I wouldn't do it.
