ef gc sleeves same as ek gc sleeves?

my brother has gave me his set off his 89 crx si and i was wondering if i can put them on my 96 civic cx?

if its just some sleeves they will fit, should be the same size, but coming from an ef, i doubt the spring rates are going to be good for your ek. i mean **** i had put some 240sx sleeves on my crx before for better spring rates, so if they are the same diameter they fit. ride will be shitt..
