new guy
just joined ht because i am looking for an rsx, last gen prelude, ek, or integra. i currently drive an 03 cobra but it is killing me on gas and i hate to put miles on it so i need a dd.
my buddy just recently got a 2000 or 2001 integra gsr i was looking around on ebay and autotrader at gsrs because he got his for $7k with 70k miles?!? but after further inspection realized that the front bumper/rad support etc had previously been in a crash and not properly repaired so that made sense. but then i began noticing that all the gsrs i saw had leather interior and read that it became standard in 1999. did he get jipped? his engine is a b18c1

Need more details on the frontend damage. 7k for a 00-01 GS-R that should have a salvage title means he got jipped, but I see 98-01 GS-R Integras reach $8k with mileage up to 100k. The GS-R motor did come stock with the B18C1 engine.
'03 Cobra? Schwweeet!
I believe the standard leather came in GS-Rs after '99.
$7k with 70k miles sounds a bit cheap with the low mileage and all, but if there is bodywork that needs to be done, it all depends on the severity if he got ripped off. There should be some sort of ebay motors guarantee if the seller improperly presented the car for sale without accurate information.

they are hard to find...
unless you signed a bill of sale that said that the car is "as-is", then you can pop them for lying to you about things like that.. its illegal to not report theft and wrecks to the DMV, so that a salvage title is avoided..
but if you get one for 7k in good condition, with less than 100k, you are good to go.. they are hard as **** to find.. at least clean ones, and ones that havent been stolen/wrecked..
