neuspeed sports/tockico blues okay for DD?
I just picked up another DA for a daily driver. The car is pretty clean and has some nice blades on it, but otherwise completely stock. Now I plan on keeping it this way but that fender gap is just killing me. Especially with the blades, it needs atleast a small drop.
So I was considering a few options and think a set of Tockico blues with some neuspeed sport springs would work nicely. What do you guys think? I've heard a few people say that drop is too much for blues, while from others I've heard it will be fine. So how would it ride? How will those shocks handle that drop?

I had blues on my 95 Accord lowered about 1.8" and it was fine as well.
I drive a DC2 now and I'm on Neuspeed Sport springs and Tokico Illumnas (whites) and the springs feel too soft and I bottom out. The shocks are on the stiffest setting too, so I'm thinking the springs.

So should I consider other springs then? I'm looking for about a 1.8" drop, but definitely don't want to bottom out all the time. I didn't even think that would be a issue with a drop like that.
yeah i heard a lot of people say bad things about blues for da's. i guess they're pretty much stock replacements....
I had a set of blues with skunk2 coilovers that were pretty low. the shocks were fine, but the ride was stiff.

Tokico Blues are cheap stock replacements. As such, they will be under-damped for any lowering spring, in addition to being run outside of their intended shaft range.
There are plenty of good lowering springs to chose from, depending on your desired height, but all of them will benefit from a shock actually capable of handling them.
