My JDM SiR EG hatch
Well, not yet. I just found this gem through a buddy when he suggested I get rid of my Gloria after I complained that I missed the car scene. Car runs very well and it will probably be boosted. Once I sell the Gloria this SiR is going to be purchased (late Feb probably after I get back from visiting the states).

Thanks for the comments.
If someone wants to take an EG... an alarm won't stop them. If I decide to worry about that though, then I will pick up an aftermarket. You do not need to worry about someone stealing a hatch around here, especially this one.

oh yeah? well its better to be safe than sorry. alarm are used to slow down the thief. if u have a good installation u can make it out before its gone. up to u man.
I'm assuming this car is in Japan (judging by the license plates, Okinawa)..if this is the case, no alarm is necessary. People leave their cars running to go into the grocery store all the time. In fact, there are signs posted in parking lots asking people to "aidoru stoppu" (idle stop, or turn off your car) since this practice is so pervasive there.
Now, if you're planning on taking this back to the US, you'll want an alarm. That car will go missing before you've even had a chance to register it if you don't install some kind of security. How are you planning on getting it home and registered, if I may ask?

I'm not sure where in Japan this car is but even in Tokyo people don't have to lock their bicycles because theft is so rare. My colleague left his laptop in the subway and went back and it was still there.
I'm in Okinawa, and yes as far as theft, it's safe here. The safety standards on the actual vehicles are garbage though.
I *might* bring it back under the assumption as "race car" but we'll just have to see. For as cheap as I am getting it, it would be worth bringing back in parts.
I'm buying it for $3k

Figured you were in Okinawa. Yeah, people will return umbrellas to the koban (police boxes). Sadly, the only thing I ever misplaced (on a bus) in Japan was my camera and it wasn't recovered.
But that's really not the norm. GL getting it over. I ended up buying the rear interior from a Spoon SiR that they decided was too much of a hassle to get registered. So they're just turning it into a full-on blue and yellow Spoon race car.
