Sounds like a spin off of HondaPrelude.com... ?? what do you guys think?

 

I think there are about a million sites trying to profit/become popular after the demise of hondaprelude.com, and I think they're all crap and/or stupid.
I used to post on hp.com, here, and on a local board for my area. Now I post here and on the local board.......

well d00d i dont know about you but id rather have 5 prelude sites than 1 prelude site to post on... lol. I dont care who makes them or if theyre spiffy or not... they let people share ideas and information about improving their Ludes... ya shouldnt dis on em for trying. Is that a pay site? Or are they using advertisement to pay for it? I think its free isn't it? Anyway they look like they're trying to do the same thing as hp.com but whats wrong with picking up where they left off? ya it sucks a$$ about hp.com going down... but it happened... and generous ppl are doing what they can to help the guy who ran it. what if someone dissed hp.com like that just cause superhonda.com was there first? hp.com never woulda existed... u kinda get my drift? lol

 

Not me. I'd rather have one good site than 50 bad ones. (aka honda-tech.com)
You obviously weren't a part of hp.com for very long. I was (since it started) and was pretty involved in that community. And it WAS a community, much like honda-tech has a good community going. It takes a long time to establish that kind of a feeling, and I laugh at all these places that think just because hp.com went down they can either a> start up a new prelude site that is just some already-built webboard or b> start charging money. HP.com had a lot of extra features like setups that would have been worth charging money for, but am I going to pay money just so I can answer other peoples questions? heck no!
Anyways, I'm beating a dead horse cause I'm bitter, but I thought I'd respond since you found my post so "lol" funny......

uhhh...Well i just checked out that site. Why does it say its been open since the beginning of september but there isn't even one post in any of the threads

 

Umm... actually it says it will open during this week, but that at the moment it is not finished and has not been publicly announced, even though people can look at it. Oh, and from what I saw, they do have a setups section and it looks pretty damn cool.

 

i guess we will have to wait to see what comes of it.. hopefully it will be yet another informative tool and not just another waste of space.. one thing is for sure, it will never be anywhere close to HT...

yeah, everything else pretty much sucks. h-t is good though. anything else just feels different after being on hp for so long.
