Did anyone notice that on all hondas that the stock tach is off by about 150 to 200 rpm. I noticed it when I put my vtec controller in that doing 80 in fifth my stock tach says almost 4500 but on my vafc it reads about 4250. I noticed that my brother's gsr and my friends type r were all off by 150 to 200 rpm.
I just thought I would bring this up to see if anyone else noticed this.

 

Yes, I have heard they are all off. My friend put a VAFC on his Type R and it was off by around 200rpm's I believe. My tach is off as well. Fuel cutoff on a Ex is 7,200 I believe, but indicated it is around 7,400.
