Icon2 91 si hatch motor

ok guys, i've been on here a few times and been on carolinahondas for a long time.so im picking up a 91 teal green si hatch. the guy threw a rod thru the front of the block. head is still good and the trans is to. the motor is a d16z6 and it was converted to a obd1.
so i need to put a obd1 single cam in it. i've found a d16b7 on here and plan on getting it from him. but my thing now is weather or not to swap the heads over or just drop in the b7 and drive it. the car will not be a fast car at all. its going to be a dd to head back and forth to school.

lmk what you guys think here.
