Last night I was driving with my friend and we came across some traffic on the northbound side of Rt 35 right before the Driscoll Bridge (NJ).

We saw a white Honda Accord and a green ZX-7R (I think it was a 7) that slammed into the back of it. The bike was definitely destroyed. I'm not sure whether it was caused by the bike sliding on the sand that was on the road or something else, but it was quite scary.

The rider was standing on the side with a tow truck guy (no cops/ambulances yet) with his arm all bloody. Glad that he was okay enough to stand. He looked pretty pissed.

That whole day made me pretty scared to ride.

what kinda gear did he have on?

 

Well, from when I got there he was standing there in a somewhat bloody T-shirt and jeans.

I know it's not the right gear...but bad news for him in any case.

 

a couple weeks ago, there was this guy who was riding his honda cbr down this busy road doing about 65 mph. this girl cut out in front of him making a left hand turn. he couldn't avoid her. he slammed into her door and flew about sixty feet. his helmet cracked and messed up his face. when they took him to the hospital, half of his face was missing. the girl was 17. the accident happened on a friday. he died on thursday the following week. he was only 21. very tragic. it is sad when people don't watch for other people on the road. to all of you bikers......be careful....
