Default ITR incomplete Head or B16 Complete Head #1

I am just starting my LS/Vtec conversion and I have the opportunity to pick up a genuine ITR head in good shape type r head with port job head is in working condition cams not included or vtec selonoid
valve stems seals are brand new
for $500

or a B16 head in great shape. The head was ported and polished, as well as the intake manifold. Also the throttle body was ported to match. Internals are all skunk2 full titanium. Comes with AEM fuel rail and injecters and b16 cams. The valve cover is powder coated grey. all hardware for the head is included. there were about 3500 miles on the head before it was pulled. for $700

Suggestions on which one I should choose?

If I could figure out how to put pictures on here, I can provide pics of each.

a type r head IS a b16 with beefed up internals..

by the time you finish the type r head, you could have your b16 head ported or something.. lol..

get the complete b16 head.. screw the type r head.. especially if it doesnt have any of the valvetrain components

i would take the b16 head considering it has a port on it the only diffrence is the port between the itr and b16 and since it has a port they would most likely flow similar, and the fact that the b16 has a v.t i would get that so you can run any cam you want, and the fact the b16 is gonna have everything you need with extras and a powder coated vc its a no brainer here stick with that b16 i just got a bare jg b16 ported head for $600 so i would say thats a good deal for your b6 head!

I'm going with the prebuilt B16 head. Guy said he'll give it to me for $650, too. The other great thing too is that the B16 head is local, the ITR head is out of state by a family member.
