Default pm5 on d16a6????

i am getting ready to take the d15 outta my 91 hatch and i was wondering if the pm5 ecu would run the d16a6 or if i needed to purchase a pm6 as well. If i need to purchase one who would be a reputable online dealer of them

So, if the new motor is different would i be able to just keep the manifold off of the d15 and put it on the d16 to keep my current ecu?

yes, but why would you want a dual point d16?
while you're swapping, you might as well go to mpfi. (my opinion).

So assuming my new motor comes with intake and everything, all i would need extra to finish the conversion would be the pm6? if thats correct, will it plug into the pm5 harness?

It's not that simple... If you want to use the pm6 you'll have to do an mpfi conversion. You'll need to chop up a mpfi engine harness n add the clips for the four injectors to the dpfi engine harness. You'll need saturated injectors if you want to sidestep the resistor box install. You have to switch the outer two wires on the tps plug as the dpfi one spins in the opposite direction as the mpfi. You'll also need a different distributor and wiring for that as well...

You can run an a6 off a pm5 as chorizo said. It will be far less time consuming and you have less things to change(less things to mess up). You can get the car running and do the mpfi conversion later if you want to hop up the a6, as dpfi is not a prefered system for going fast.
