Default Can mugen lowdowns be used with standard springs

I've been offered a set of mugen lowdowns but dont want the lowered springs (I need the ride height) The question is would it be worth it... for occaisional track use?

Nice try but no cigar - There's normally nothing wrong with running firmer dampers I was just wondering if anyone had done it.

buy some Koni yellows.

It's sure a hell of a lot cheaper than Mugen lowdowns.
That would depend on how much the lowdowns would cost ME

They are 15mm lower than stock. The roads in the UK are a hell of a lot better than most of ths US if I recall, so why is it an issue?

My girlfriend lives on a farm plus it would affect my insurance.

Is that "no without the springs" or "not worth it for track use" or "no, not worth buying at all ? "

Just to underline these will not cost me anything like full price
