need help. 5 speed to auto and overheating
hi there guys and gals. my automatic 94 dx motor shitted on me. i had a zc 5 speed, i had extra. i believe the zc is obd0. well i switched everything over to auto: the wire harness, transmission, intake manifold, throttle body. i believe that's it. it starts and runs. the problems are it's overheating now. i don't know if it's the radiator or something else. i know that both radiator hoses are suppose to be hot, when the engine is warmed up, but the bottom hose is not and only the upper hose is. i thought it was the thermostat, so i bought a new one and it's still doing the same thing. i used the stock auto dx ecu, it idles and lets me shift gears to reverse, drive, etc. i asked some friends why it idles, they told me to try a 5 speed ecu, so i tried a gsr 5 speed ecu, the idle goes away and not it won't let me shift into none of the gears, i would have to put the car on neutral to start and for it to let me shift to drive. anyone with any suggestions would be appreciated. please someone help me out.
