Default Side mirror question

Is it possible to swap everything over from a power mirror to a manual side mirror. What I mean is I have some matching white side mirrors in good shape but they are manual and I have my car set up for power mirrors. I got a set of beat up black ones and was wondering if it is possible to swap everything over to the white ones and what the process would be? Thanks.

Oh and its a 93 coupe.

should be! u just have to gut everything and might have to drill a hole for the wires instead of having a rod for adjustment!

Thanks. I will probably end up doing that. Has anyone tried it?

I've had mirrors off a car before and it looks like the doors are set up for either. Remember, Honda likes to make parts to use on multiple cars. It's cheaper to make one door that will fit power and manual windows than one for each.

For example, a CRV, Accord Wagon and Integra Type R share the same front brake calipers.

I don't believe the OP is asking whether he can use the manual mirrors in place of the power ones -- I believe he is asking whether he can swap the power internals into the white manual shell.

If this is the case, then I have done just what you are saying, but with the following qualification: I swapped JDM Power Folding internals into a Manual mirror shell. Both shells were identical and it worked perfectly. However, if you look at the bottom of your USDM power mirrors, you'll see a spot for an adjustment screw (or something) ... this is not present on the manual or JDM folding mirrors. I don't know, then if there is some design difference that will impede fitment. I'm interested in finding out if it works, though -- I'd like to update my PFM DIY install with that info. Can you let me know?
