Does anyone have any experience with strokers kits for a b16? any good or bad things known about them? are they worth doing if doing an all motor build?
scat cranks or the spoon stroker kit.. not worth it in my opinion for a b16a.. maybe for a b16b yeah but if you want displacement then just go 2.0 blocks like a k20 or b20 or even 2.4 and 2.2 liters like h22 and k24 blocks

TODA Racing offers a stroker kit for the B16A engine which increases displacement to 1797cc. The stroke is increased from 77.4mm to 87.2mm. The kit comes with TODA forged pistons (81mm or 81.5mm), heavy duty piston wrist pins, fully balanced connection rods, dynamically balanced crankshaft, and bearings which already have the clearance set. Compression ratio with a stock head gasket is 11.0 : 1 and the rod ratio is 1.54. This kit is completely balanced and blue printed. $2900
I'm just saying that Honda made what was essentially a stroked B16B by using the same block and essentially the same head (I know, cams...) by sticking a 87.2mm stroke crank in. The logical thing is to just drop a GSR crank in the B16B unless you need to rev as high as a B16B and have that sweet R/S ratio.
