Default 1991 CRX si d16 to d15?

I picked up a 1991 CRX si with a blown the d16 motor. I have hopes of eventually doing a b18 swap, but in the meantime just DD it. I have d15 motor out of a dx civic. Will the si CRX run with that d15; will the harnesses plug in?

Thanks in advance!

why use the stuff off your d16? because the dx engine is setup with dpfi and you will want to retain the mpfi of your old d16. it will make more power this way, and it's the cheapest way to get the job done.

no need for head swap IF the o/p wanted to use the si cam, although it has been proven that the si cam is the same as a d15b2 cam, (search, there's a thread about it) just clocked differently.

o/p, if you want to use the si cam, you'll need to also use either a y8 cam gear or get an adjustable cam gear and adjust it like 4.5* one way or the other (i forgot) to make up for the deck height difference.
