Default Seat refurbishing

Okay so my front seats on my 02 Si are like most, they're fading a bit and are more grey than black. Has anyone had any success with them without buying new seats?

I wouldn't want to just dye them though, I want them to be soft again lol. I'm curious about this as well. On some parts of the lower bolsters the seats are 'tougher' I guess than other spots that aren't touched as much.

It's the nature of the fabric, it's not so much faded as it is worn. It gets shiney over time. There's really not a solution to this (that I know of).
