Default Canadian Accord Engine? What is it?

I am considering a 95 Accord EX Coupe. It has a 2.2 I4 with the letters HA on the block left of the manifold. VTEC on a silver top. English and French on all info/spec stickers. Instrument cluster is KM. The car is from Canada. Question...Does anyone know the history and specs on thios motor?? Thanks guys.

Are you sure it's not an Ex-R? The Canadian Ex usually came standard with an OBD1 Non VTEC F22B2 and the Ex-R came with the VTEC F22B1. If you look just under were you see the HA it will have another code.F22B1 - F22B2 - etc...etc....That is the engine code.

Not that that maters, if it has a silver/grey valve cover with 16 valve VTEC written on it. It is more than likely the OBD1 F22B1.
- Bore × Stroke: 85.0 × 95.0 mm
- Displacement: 2156 cc
- Valve Configuration: SOHC, 16 valves, VTEC
- Compression ratio: 8.8:1
- Max power @ the crank: 145 hp (108 kW) @ 5500 rpm
- Max torque @ the crank: 147 ft·lbf (199 N m) @ 4500 rpm

Thanks man. It is the EX-R. So it has the F22B1. The aluminum is somewhat corroded, so I had to spray it and clean it off. Aha, and there it was! Thanks. Now I know.
