Alright some ******* broke into my car and f'ed my dash all up in my 91 civic 4 door in the process of stealing my radio. Since its in need of replacement I was wondering if there was any support on the fitment of a CRX or DA dash into a 4 door?

 

The CRX dash has been installed a hundred times, run a search and you'll get heaps of threads on it. I haven't seen a DA dash installed personally, so i doubt it would fit very well (If at all).

Nice link Grande Sausage! I just bought an 88 4dr for $200 and all it needs are axles exhaust and...wait for it... a dashboard!!! Now I have extra options for spares.

haha my buddy installed a 88 crx dash in his 88 sedan and he nvr mention shavin a lip off and the only thing tht doesnt line up rite is the part tht goes around the ebrake... but i have seen a da dash in a sedan on the internet ill get a url if i can find it

omg i love that steering wheel. i have the center cap on my quick release steering wheel but on mine the H is silver, yours is all black. is yours the jdm one?

 

naa, the person i got it from had the H red with a sharpie! so i cleaned that off and put black instead.

 

ohh lmao i see. so does that steering bolt right up to a crx with the 19mm bolt?

 

yea it fits perfectly, well it isnt as deep as a civic steering wheel. what i mean is that there is only about an inch clearance from the back of the wheel to the wiper/signal levers.

so i catch the levers with my knuckles from time to time. other than that it has the same splines as the civic and the threaded portion sticks out around an inch.

i had to take off my signal cancel levers from behind the stock steering wheel but contrary to peoples beliefes..my signals STILL cancel out whenever the wheel is turned!

 

ohh iight i see. yea thats true they turn off as soon as the steering wheel is straight again

 

yea i know, but most people say that if you put on an aftermarket wheel, or if you remove the tabs, you wont have your blinkers turn off automatically. well, mine do for some reason still.
