I have a 95 eg coupe. i have a gsr swap and got the p72ecu chipped about a month ago and everything was working fine. they put 2 step in which holds the car at 4000rpms staying still, redline is 8500 and when u hit 8500 the check engine light goes on as a shift light. the stock tach redline is shown at 7000. i gunned it on the fwy today and it wouldnt go past 7 grand even with the chip. the 2 step still wrks tho. so i tried my friends ecu which is set to redline at 8500 and it did the same thing and wouldnt go past 7 and the check engine light goes on at 7 now too as the shift light. anyone kno what is wrong?

 

failing ignitor, coil or tach.

 

if vtec pressure switch isnt wrkn it will do that
