i just got a 94 integra it has a swap a b20 out of a crv, i heard that the b18 head is the best.

 

whats are your intentions as far as the motor?

It depends on what you want to do, do you want VTEC? ^ B16 head would be a wise choice. B20VTEC is pretty awsome.

 

Why a b16 head? I thought the GSR heads were the best for if your going high compression?

 

b16 heads are more fun. the head itself is pretty much the same casting as the ITR head and people like the shape of the runners on the IM (its more attractive). the gsr heads and the b16 heads are pretty similar in price so grab a b16!!!!

 

if you want more compression right off the bat, then get a gsr head.. it has a smaller combustion chamber, and thus increases compression..

b16 is good, for sure.. and they can be found alot easier and cheaper than a gsr head, but you wont have as high of compression..

it really depends on what type of power you want to make

for me, really, i would go with a gsr head, if i found a good one for a decent price.. if not, slap a b16 head on, and still have a blast
