What is the difference???
Can someone please tell me why People remove the power steering and ac from the cars. I wonder because everytime i look for Integras online (im searching for my first car) they say whether or not they have ps or ac in them. Im kinda new to this car world and ive been wondering what differences these things make. Thank you for any help

People take the Power Steering and Air Conditioning for a few reasons. Most people do it just for less belts and resistance although I bet it's not too much of a gain, a whole lot of little things can add up.
It also makes the engine bay look cleaner without the lines and pumps. If the power steering is taken out, make sure the lines are looped or that they left the pump and line hooked up. There will be a little bit more resistance when turning than normal but I like it and it's not bad and a lot funner on turns.

Like stevenDA said I think it's mostly an aesthetic thing for the engine bay. It can reduce weight, and taking off the PS system may free up two or three whp. People remove the cruise control system for similar reasons (the cruise system has an ugly box in the engine bay), and also sometimes even the ABS system.
I took my ac out cause my turbo was hitting the ac pump. For the ps pump thats out to just like they said up top less belts nd the bay looks cleaner! You can always loop the hoses but fill it with ps fluid before you do!
I've never removed it solely to make it look better. In both of my 240SX's the pumps were seized so I removed it. Only time you feel a difference is when driving slow like parking and stuff. A/C removal can save some considerable weight depending on the vehicle. All the condensor and other parts were close to 50 lbs in my S13. Never removed any of that stuff on any of my DA's though.
on certain cars, it can actually make a pretty good difference.. like, my boy has an r32, and he took the power steering out, along with the AC, and it feels ALOT quicker.. just more responsive.. you wont see too big of a gain, though, on most cars..

PS is one luxury i dont wanna give up, i had an 89 civic hf with no PS and i ****in hated trying to park that thing LOL.
i would be down to take out the AC and Cruise Control though, because i never use it.

it started wen people that 1st get there honda or acura think they dont need it, less belts more power, less stuff less weight! but anywayz more room ,room 4 a turbo mainly. but now a days its all about being super klean. ditch the a/c and burn in the summer but were still klean.
