Well I'm a bit curious about the 01 itr cams that I got but also glad that it came in before my head work was done. Anyway I know that people here say that in order to indentify the itr cams is by the groove on the distributor side of the intake cam, but mine doesn't have a groove at all.



I ordered my cams from my work(acura dealership) and when i got it today it was in the boxed sealed good , so i know that no one switched it . But before ordering like 2 weeks ago honda ssaid that the 01 itr cams are out of stock in the states so they had to wait for a shipment from japan. So the one I got was the batch that came from japan.



part number for the 01 itr cams is this , so i know that I did not order the wrong part. My friend said that sometimes honda slightly changes the way they make there parts from time to time meaning the same exact part would have a stamp 3 yrs ago and this yr the same exact part would have no stamp just to distinguish the year since it has the same part num....
