New car - gas/idle issue, align issue
Just bought a 1991 Accord EX-R. Wondering if anyone might be able to point me in the right direction as to why it may be idling so rough[around 400-600 rpms] and also going through gas worse than my brothers 454 LS5, I **** you not haha. First thing I'm going to check when I can is my EGR. Any other suggestions?
Also the 2 photos attached show the axle and knuckle assembly on the passenger side of the car. If you stand flush to the side of the car you can see the wheel is actually about 1-2 inches back, when compared to the drivers side. There are scratches along the frame which lead me to think the car was ditched and also auto wrecker marks on the lower control arm on pass side so it's been replaced. Wondering if maybe they used the wrong parts? If there frame was bent... wouldn't the rear wheel be off center as well? Thanks

No it is off. 3 of the veteran techs were looking at it when I had it in the shop[they like to help me, I'm still learning a lot] and it definitely is off. I'll ask about an alignment tomorrow and see if it helps or if it's even worth it. If the wheel is back, that would explain why my steering wheel point almost 45 degrees turned to the left in order to drive straight.
Any signs of frame damage? a couple inches is pretty significant for alignment. Also, check for free play in the suspension. I have seen hubs that can shift back and forth just from bad bushings, which could definitely be an issue on a '91. Is the title clean?
There are scratches all along the frame rails. Thanks for help but nevermind, cylinder 3 is running 20 psi. I'm not doing any head work or piston rings, car is being scrapped.
Motor swap takes less than a weekend if you have the right equipment. Access to a shop should make it easy. Frame rails on the bottom of the chassis? That just means it bottomed out.
