alright i bought a 91 std 4 speed civic and i needed some new axles. my buddy said i could have his 5 speed and axles for a dirt cheap deal so i said ok ill take it. now my question is i know the std axles are smaller then the regular dx si axles but can i make it work? what axles would i need to fit my std civic hub and 5 speed tranmission? can i use his axles fro his dx? with his trans? im confuzzed

 

The tranny side of the axles are the same regardless of trim level, it's the hub side that's different. Therefore, match the axles to your hub. If you have the 4spd hubs, you'll need 4spd/CRX HF axles.
