B16a VTEC wiring questions.
Since I have searched for a diagram from a B16 motor and cannot find it. I am curious....This might be a seriously noob question but....On the vtec pressure switch I have two wires, black & red. Im guessing red is for the ecu and black is ground correct? I am having an issue with a recently swapped 88 si with a jdm b16a car runs great but will not go into vtec. It feels like the motor is being choked up, (not to be confused with misfiring) around 5-6k but will rev fine in neutral but in gear it chokes. Please help

ok anyone else have any real technical answers? It seems as if the when going past 5k the motor starts to loose power, no bucking, misfiring just simply as if you are about to hit redline or floating if you will. Possibly fuel or ignition issue?????
just change your spak plugs man, i had the same problem with my jdm b16a. i thought it was also a bigger issue, but i just bought 12 dollar ngk spark plugs from auto zone and it hasnt done it since. i have a vtec problem on my car now, my vtec wont hit!! why not!! but yea to stop the stuttering, get new plugs, its not too expensive so whatve you got to lose?
