Default Project 98+ F23A1 Block W/H22 Head Can it Be Done?

Hey just have some concerns. My current set-up is a B20 Vtec turbo. You can find it under forced induction b20 Vtec Budget build. Made some good power. Now I wanna Build a All Motor. I been doin some research and found that the 98 up accord block has a longer stroke then H22 or H23. Its like a 97 or 98mm. Something Like That. Plus a heard the sleeves are like b series sleeves and can hold some power. I wanted to throw on a built h22 head with some skunk2 pro2's and some weisco pistons 12:0:1 or 13:0:1 on E85. My question is.,.. will the H22 Head fit the F23A1 98+up Block???

It should bolt right up. As far as making it work, you will have some work to do. Also the head will have a larger bore then the block

Ya i was thinking of boring it to 87mm since its a cast Iron Sleeve. Im mainly doin a budget build again. I dont wanna sleeve it thats why im going with the 98 up accord block cause it as cast sleeves not like the h22 aluminum sleeve. Im an H22 Guy my first good motor was an h22 in a 94 accord. It had a built head with skunk2 valve springs and retainers type s cams and pistons. that motor went threw hell! i never tuned it i had vafc and adjusted it myself that was back then when i dint knw anything about tuning or knwing the car needed to be tuned lol. but it ran a 13.6 in the 1/4. I think it would of done better in a hatch and a good tune!

Per PirateMcFred via PM a few days ago:

....the F23 block does not line up real well with the H22 head. The F23 head gasket will work but it's definitely less than ideal and you'll have to block two oil drains on the timing side.

This is known as the G23 and has been done a couple of times. Look at Pirate's build thread in the prelude section, he is in the middle of finishing it up right now. The f23 crank is 97mm.
