i just want to confirm about prop valve on my disc brake swap.
96 ex (si in canada) model
integra rear disc brakes.

i did search about these, im going to replace the correct prop valve but until it arrives (or found one in the junk yard) i still have the original prop valve.

did a test drive after the swap and steering is wobble, it feels like the rear tires are skidding left/right but not dragging.
did an alignment and everything is out of spec, after alignment (backs have a little bit of toe R-0.8 L-0.4) the left rear was adjusted at that deg due to the right being maxed out.

after an alignment, it's a little better on high speeds but still wobbling on low speed. today, started the car and did a spin around the block and same thing happened, after the car warmed up, the steering is back to normal.

im not sure if the + toe at the back causes this or the PROPORTIONING VALVE.

so before i look up or order the correct prop valve (part# 46210-s04-902)
i need your honda knowledge first.

If this is on a EK, they use the same prop valve as the SI's that come stock with rear disc.

 

but EX coupe uses different valva, and thats what im using

 

so anybody with 96-00 EX coupe did a disc brake swap and kept the prop valve?
any similar problems like mine?

 

You can get a 99-00 SIR (canadian) one or you can also use a 96-00 Hatchback one which is exactly the same as the 99-00 SiR one.

 

i know where to get it, in fact i just ordered one from a CX model, i believe all SIR in canada are equip with ABS and the parts guy gave me a different part # for SIR.

i would like to know the symptoms of keeping the EX prop valve with disc swap at the back.

i read at sticky that one symptom would be your car will feel like out of alignment. i would like to hear other owners who swap their rear brakes and kept the prop valve (EX coupe)

ps. i believe the toe won't cause the wobbling steering, after an alignment yesterday, i found out my front toes were out of specs! and been driving like that for the past 100,000kms with no affect on steering.
So im looking towards the prop valve.
