Default 97 DC4 w/ H&R Sport

I don't know what shocks to get, I was suggested to get gr2's but I have heard anything past a 1.5" drop will blow them.

Thanks for any help you guys have.

I'm in college so I don't want to spend $200 on shocks then they blow and I waste my money

I would suggest Koni Sports if you can swing $450.

The GR-2's are an OEM replacement shock, I don't see those lasting very long on a lowered car. If Koni's are out of your budget, at least get KYB AGX, or Tokico Illumina shocks.

I had AGX with H&R sport. They blew out after about a year. Go with Yellows or at least STR.T. Yellows are far better though, you wont need shocks again if you get those.

Tokico Illuminas are great shocks... easy to adjust dampening on top of shock. Have them with H&R race springs. You can actually feel the difference in the 5 settings when adjusting works perfect for me when going to the track.
