Icon6 Need help locating a coolant leak.

So the other day, I noticed a puddle of coolant building under my car. Its right under the oil pan area so I'm a puzzled. Popped open the hood and noticed all of my Radiator hoses seem fine. At least the visible ones that you can see from under the hood. Jacked up the car a bit and noticed where it was coming from. Here's the image:

As you can see, its dripping down from above the pipe area. As of right now, my car does not over heat, my coolant level in my Rad. is still full, no white smoke coming from exhaust pipe. I haven't taken it for a spin in a while so I'm gonna give it a drive tomorrow for a good 20-30 minutes to see how the car reacts. The car started leaking while it was sitting in my drive way.

Googling around I found a few possible issues; Head Gasket, Cracked Engine Block, Water Pump, or the hoses that connect to the Heater Core. Heater works and inside of the car is dry. Some help would definitely be appreciated. Its a 1990 Integra LS.

So its coming outta the rear of the block somewhere? My guess is the rear block plug or it might be coming outta the intake mani!

It could be something as simple as an underated radiator cap.. Coolant leaks are a bitch because it just cycles through a complete system. Im trying to figure out what your picture is exactly, it just looks like the downpipe/cat connection.. And it wouldnt be leaking from there rather just flowing down and dripping off of it.

Yes, its the downpipe/cat connection. Its dripping from right above. So I have no clue if there is something around the area that might cause it to leak.

I just replaced the Radiator cap about a month ago.

Maybe one of the heater hoses is leaking?

Which one is the heater hose? None of the visible hoses are leaking. Checked a hose that is connected to the firewall and it seems fine. But then again, not sure if its the heater hose.

keep cheking da back of the block youll find it. its gonna be one of da hoses that come out of da block and go to da mani.
if it was from the heater hoses it would drip more to da right rather dan the middle

I'm gonna really try to get a good look around the intake manifold. I'm broke until next week so I can't take it to the shop and I don't have a proper jack so I can only go so far under the car with this little trunk jack I have. I ain't trying to get crushed.

You were right. I took off the air intake and filter and spotted that little SOB. Its the hose that's right next to the oil filter. I have limited amount of tools so I may have to take it to a shop.

I have no clue how my big *** hands can fit back there and like I said, I only have a few tools.

all u need is a pair of pliers but first u should drain da coolant so theres no spills.
jack da car up and try to spot da line remove it and check for cracks, and if its not conected to anything get a bolt or something to plug it, then put it back in place.
its hella tricky to do it so make sure u got time

do you know anyone with a coolant pressure tester? if you can borrow one, it might help you find the leak under pressure. it sounds like it is one of the small coolant hoses around the intake manifold.

I found the hose that's leaking. I'm going to wait until I get paid and just buy some stands and a jack and do it myself. The hose is on the passenger side right near the oil filter.

its easier to find a leak just following the coolant trail, thats y its green. or using a black light, the coolant will glow when exposed to the black light
