What's up guys/dolls, this is my first build thread but definitely not my first project.

Alright, over the summer I got sick of my Eg and traded for this 89 crx si, I rocked it stock for a few months then threw some suspension on, nothing serious. Well, on halloween my timing belt snapped on the way to work. After driving a buddy's car for a month or so, I finally had monies to pick up a beater.

Now I get to work, the car is already stripped and these are my plans:

I got the road racing bug this past summer so I wanna do it up so I can track it as I please.
Not race car status or anything though.

Plans(these will be done by spring):

Ls/V, most likely just a stock setup, maybe some p30's if i can find a deal.

BIIIIGGGG Update thursday hopefully!

 

So i had to change up my plans a little bit due to my days getting cut at work.

Picked up a freshhhhh b16 head today.





So fresh! Didn't even clean anything up yet.

 

that b series head looks soo clean!GL on your build. where'd you pick up your 5 panel mirror from?

 

I got it from a vendor on amazon, dirty cheap. The quality isn't that great but for 15 shipped it was expected.

Just picked up a LEGIT gsr cable trans!!! Picking up a huge heater this week so i can get the bay painted!

Started on the harness tonight, not looking go all out with this tuck, just clean things up.

I got the injector wires cleaned up tonight:

Got some work done last night.

*Got the radiator support out since it was toast.
*Sanded the entire interior down!

I should have the interior all painted up this week! Going with satin black.

 

Thinking about doing a polished subframe, any feedback on that?!

 

I've been slacking....

But, i am nearly done with my wire tuck, and I finished paint on my interior.

-dash/door panels back in
-interior wiring all back in
-almost finished on my tuck
-rear bumper/tail lights back on
-got some MINT mudflaps from the junkyard! (9 bucks FTW!!!)

Also finished up the bay...for now. Wanted to get as much done as i could while waiting on my buddy to do the core support/fix the front of the frame.
