Default Which Cat back?Many options!

I found a few cat back but dont really know which one to go with. Any suggestions. Dont want something really loud or something that sounds stock.Something in between.
Here are a few:

http://www.meganracing.com/products/...d=811&catid=21

http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=1594

http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=1580

http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=1182

Check em out and tell what you think. Thanks. I have Megan Racing headers that my friend gave me. So planning on using those with the Cb.

Go with the vibrant:

flat black muffler: http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=5830

standard muffler: http://www.corsportusa.com/store/cat...oducts_id=1594

(those links are to the Si versions)

I had a Megan axle-back and liked it, very much like stock. Now I have the Buddy Club and it is LOUD! So my next exhaust will be a 3 inch with a Vibrant Flat Black Universal muffler mated to my 3 inch. I think Vibrant makes a 3 inch to connect to their black universal muffler.

can I ask you a question bro....why do you wanna change the exhaust when the SI already comes with a nice exhaust stock? in my opinion you should leave the exhaust system as it is and just do motor work, but i will tell you this.....be careful with what exhaust you go with cause it might sacrifice your 1/4 mile, my boy ran 14.7 with stock exhaust then he put on a greddy exhaust and now he's runnin' 15.3

Not to steal the thread. But does Vibrant make that flat black exhaust in a 3 inch. All I see is the 2.5

Thats just driver error bro. The best performing exhaust is a true 3in catback with a catles header. In cluded an intake and Flashpro and you are making around 210-220 whp. Thats way more then stock!

Tell your boy to pay more attention to the tach when driving rather then listen to the exhaust.

Don't leave it stock. There is too much room for improvement with our motor. Intake, good exhaust, header and FlashPro. Pretty much what Greg recommended.

I mena i made my numbers in my sig with out flashpro and I have a restrictive exhaust and supposidly one of the worst headers on the market. After i get my FP i will be doing cams and a better header and 3 in catback either Full race or The Go Power.

do you want the most power or just a little more pep? If you are thinking of doing cams in the future you will yeild the most gains with a 3in catback and a header with a 2.5in collector or the new Invidia header has a 70mm collector.

well a nice header with a catback will do.. I have the dc sport race header and greddy evo 2 catback and a k&N short ram intake and made the power in my sig. I now have a takeda intake instead of the K&N and am hopeing that with the kidd racing header, 3in catback and Fp i will make around 220whp. anything over that will make me happy. after cams and intake mani and throttle body im shooting for around 250whp. ill have a few other gooides to help get that number.

Don't do the megan header. They make cheaper products. For a great header and cheaper price I would do the kidd racing header. It makes great power and is affordable. You can also do the dc sports race header bc its cheap and its not the best but it makes some power. The vibrant is a great catback and an intake I would recomend the injen or the takeda.

I'm not sure what the gains are with the Megan. The way I would look at, is it worth your time installing a header you're not sure on what the power gains are?

When are you installing the kidd racing header? I just installed mine last weekend and its mated to the greddy sp2 catback and it sounds amazing! I def felt some gains but havent been to the dyno yet. I want to get a intake next, just have to do some more research. I want to get the fp soon but my eg bubble needs some work done so im going to fix that first.

To stay on topic, i have the sp2 and i love the exhaust. At cold its louder than stock but when warm u can hear it rumble speacially with the RH. Normal driving is not loud maybe a little more than stock but when u get on it its music to my ears
I was going to go vibrant but i was reading around and some people thought it was loud, the sp2 is exactly what i was looking for

Me too! And as Max said, if it's not a race header than don't even bother putting it on the Si.
