Need specs on a 2008 Honda Civic Si Cold Air Intake (trying to build one)

Default Need specs on a 2008 Honda Civic Si Cold Air Intake (trying to build one)

Hey if anyone knows the specs on how to build a 2008 civic si cold air that would be great if you know part numbers like 8705=Mass airflow sensor that would be great but preferably i need specs like 4" straight then 45degree then 6" then a mass airflow sensor etc.. Im trying to build my own cold air to save a few hundred dollars Thanks to anyone who helps.p.s. I need specs from the engine bay to the filter i need to build this intake from the engine to the ground down thanks alot

As long as your pipe is roughly the same diameter as the throttle body and your MAF makes a good connection with no leaks, the pipe can probably be whatever length you want.

ya i know but if i have specs its easier cuz i dont have to connect and disconnect parts of my intake this way i build it and put it straight in plus theres little room to work with in the si hood... with my tl its easy plenty of room im just happy that my car doesn't have engine covers

How certain are you that you have the right hobby? No one is going to help you quickly on this, grab some pop corn and answer to your topic may take some time. I say you are just going to have to play around and experiment.

I have specs for a bunch of other cars but i really wanna figure specs out for the 2008 honda civic si i went to autozone to look at the spectre book but they do not have specs for that car

Just use the oem MAF.

no im just gonna build a ram intake for the si to replace to stock intake cuz i replaced my tl intake with a ram so its inplace of the stock intake and it hauls its also very loud

This is what they call "R&D", and it's proprietary. Thats why you wont see everybody and their grandma selling one. You gotta do it yourself. If its not Honda official product, Honda wont release the info, and neither will any other company, cause that's work and blueprints that engineer(s) worked on.
