Default My first mod - v-afc...need some advice

I just installed a v-afc today, it was very straight forward. Unfortunately it may be a while before I can get it tuned at a dyno. In the meantime, are there any settings you guys would suggest to try out while playing it safe. I don't have a A/F gauge yet, nor an EGT gauge so I don't wan't to accidentally blow up my motor, know what I mean. Anything that would work on an otherwise stock car?

you could try leaning out past VTEC 3-4% probably.

Dont just keep playing with it intil it 'feels strongest'

When I had mine dyno tuned each 500 rpm interval had a different leaning off requied, if you lean it off too much you are a risk of doing some damage...
Still min needed leaning off by at least 6% everywhere, and up to 17% on the top end...

Dont use these settings in yours thou, perhaps 5% past vtec as suggested

i might lower the vtec kick in to maybe 4800 but everything else needs to be left to a dyno

wutangben - thats what I was going to do, but my friend knew someone who was selling it for $210, so I thought I might as well just get it now than later.

Screaming Vtec - Actually, according to my butt dyno I gained at lest 30 whp plus madd lo end YO (lol ). Yeah I don't want to fiddle with it too much till I get some dyno time. But do you think leaning it 3% past vtec would be OK? Any intervals you suggest?

ViZ - are there any dangers of lowering vtec too much? right now its at 5000.
