Icon6 91 civic pls help

hopefully you guys can help me. I cant seam to find a passenger side driveshaft for my 91 hatch. i bought a 93 integra driveshaft but was an inch too long. causeing the engine to shift to the driver side. nowthe alternator and the ac compressor are kissing the inner fender. i was thinking of hamerring in the fender to make room. I had to take the driveshaft out. Went to Checkers and couldnt find out whats wrong. We had the right axle seams like. someone mentioned a 88-89 teg. but the Checkers is closed right now to go check it out. any ideas?

Also when i go in revers the gears grinds sometimes.

The Y1 tranny has a goofy length intermediate shaft. The easiest way to solve your problem is get rid of the one on your car, and get a usdm 90-93 Integra shaft, then you can use the matching drive shafts to fit properly.
