the numbers stamped on the caliper are unique to the caliper mold.

I need the number so when I go pick up a pair of 'EP3' calipers, I can make sure im getting EP3 calipers.

-still up for confirmation

all dc5 and ep3 have the same part #'s for the rear calipers( right and left being different of course and the dc5 type-r, It has a different rotor offset so they have different calipers also).

whats wrong with your old caliper?

Why would't the ep3 and dc5 have the same caliper?....disk size is the same, they are swapable between lca's

a 04 base rr caliper = 43018-S5A-J02RM

where I got it from....

http://www.acuraoemparts.com/delray/...All&vinsrch=no

04 ep3 rr caliper = 43018-S5A-J02RM

where I got it from....

http://www.hondapartscheap.com/south...t=0&quantity=0

look the same to me........spend some time with these 2 sites, you can cross match honda and acura parts by part numbers....

Might be too late now but I wanted to add that "9CLP14S" is also stamped on the Integra Type R's caliper and yet they're different from the EP3/RSX ones around the e-brake mechanism. I'm not just talking about the stuff that bolts to it. The casting is different too.
