i got my windshield smashed on a car i got a couple days ago cuz i left it at a friends and trusted he would take car and he left it down the street from his house.... how much should one on craigslist be installed? and also i wanted to know how much should a decent paint job be from someone on craigslist or a body shop other than maaco.. im not looking for a perfect paint job but normal and is a tight budget

You don't need to use craigslist. You can get one replaced by a reputable glass shop for $125-200, including parts and labor, and it will be warrantied against leaks. Click here for more details.

I'm not sure why you need any paint work...

 

Sucks on the windshield. Painting is expensive, so you know. You can't really get someone to do it for less than $500 or so (for a whole car), and a good job is far more.

 

If you need paintwork, most bodyshops give free estimates.

 

if you live in florida it's FREE your incerance covers it lol

 

Get in the yellow pages and look up glass shops and also body shops.. I had a guy come out and install my windshield in my driveway.


After you get the windshield fixed drive around and get free estimated on paint/body work.

 

For replacing the windshield, auto glass shops can give you their price over the phone.

look up 50 dollar paint job on youtube a guy on here had an ef sedan and did a smoke grey on his looks pretty clean but not perfect.

 

yeah.. i replaced the window in my ef for 160 out the door, and it was done in 25 minutes.. just enough time to smoke a bowl and come back.. haha.. you can find that easily... get your phone book out and call around..
