1994 Accord LX clutch problem
Hello, normally i would go buy a haynes manual and check this out myself, but currently I don't have a liscence or a car to go buy one. I just got back from vacation and went to start my car so i could go get medicine, and my clutch is pushed all the way down. Now I'm guessing this car is not a cable transmission, because I don't see a cable like i used to on my 3 91 civic I've previously owned. Is there any quick fixes I can try like fluid? Is there a clutch fluid reservoir or is the fluid all in the trasmission like on my 91 civic? Any help is much appreciated. Happy new years. BTW car starts just won't go in gear (obviously)
Hydraulic clutch, separate master cylinder, uses brake fluid. Check the fluid level. Filling it and bleeding the system may help short term, but if it is going all the way to the floor and the reservoir is empty, you've probably got a leak. Check inside where the push rod comes through the firewall.
Ok i found the reservoir and it is empty. My brother will bring me fluid after he checks on my dad in hospital. Is there a bolt right on reservoir to bleed it from?
Yea try bleeding it if that doesn't work check the clutch lines. I had the same issue couple weeks ago and it was a hole in my clutch line so i just change that out and re bleed it then its all good.
Anyone have picture of where to bleed?...so when i go outside tonight whenever my brother gets back from hospital with fluid i can find easier?

When bleeding the master cylinder was wheezing(sorry if not good description word). I'm guessing this more then likely means theres a leak on or by it?
Alright thanks everyone so far. Last question: I went away for a week came back and there was basically no fluid in the reservoir. I just drove around block and it drove fine. Do you think i should just check fluid in morning and drive it or would you not risk it?
