ever since i got this motor, every once in a while i would get bogging/stall problems. when i would step on the gas all you can hear is the intake sucking in air but the engine doesnt do anything. if i pull it out of gear the rpm will just drop instantly to 0/stall out.

the only way to get the car started back up is turning the key off then back on. the car wont even run again if i pop it back in gear while the car is still rolling down a hill or still have enough speed to do a running start unless i turn the key off/on. when i do the rolling start without turning the key off/on. the tach still reads the rpm at whatever speed im rolling at but has no power like its not giving spark or fuel

has anyone had this problem before? it only started doing it with this motor. i had 4 other motors on this car before with no problem. i thought it could be the map sensor but it doesnt make sense that i have to turn the key off and on to get it running again
