Its a prelude transmission i picked up for cheap. it had crap on it around the VSS and the guy before me removed the sensor, allowing the crap(dirt) to fall into the trans. not to mention all the dirt that got attracted to the oil in the output holes because it was kept on the ground... I want to flush it out somehow, can i remove the drain plug and spray a bunch of brake parts cleaner through the VSS hole?

if you think that there is dirt in it the only way to get it all out is to do a complete tear down.

yea, lots of crap inside... leaves, dirt, unknown... gears had rust, lots of water, final drive was nasty as ****. i used my old final drive and took the gearsets apart and cleaned, lubed and reassembled it all. put some new seals n **** too. it goes through all the gears so lets see what happens. i should be putting it in this weekend.
