I gotta b16 bottom end with a gsr head, but the drivers side axle wouldn't pop into the half shaft.

Do i need b17 axles because the DA is 91? or what

the axles of the 93 gsr and 94-97 del sol vtec should be the same and both sure work just fine. some of the aftermarket oem replacement axles (autozone, advance auto, napa, pep boys), the retaining clip is a little too big and won't let the axle go into the tranny or half shaft all the way. might wanna just try taking that clip off the axle and squeeze it together a little, then try installing it.

 

i already did try that :p it didn't work still it looked like the threads weren't lining up or something it was close but wouldn't go in

 

Well I think the question the needs to be asked is what transmission are you using?

 

I was gonna build and put back together my B18A1 but yesterda i got into an accident and need money. selling my engine for $500 OBO this includes head and bottom block will throw in a D16y8 bottom block with spun rod bearings and the Automatic Trans tht go's with the D series trany is good just block is bad. With the trany just get the B17 trans it will go right in if not save up some cash and go get a B16 trans and do a poor mans type-r like he sd the axels sd fit but make sure tht thier gsr cus some of my friends had problems with tht.
