Default Civic v. Accord

Hello. I am looking for a new Honda, and budget dictates I can get a Civic EX-L, or a barebones Accord (LX or LX-P)

My biggest apprehension about the Civic is safety. I know the Civic has great safety ratings and all the safety features in the Accord, but the Accord is a larger car. I've heard small cars can be unsafe, so I'm wondering what people's thoughts are on this.

thanks!

Do you really need advice on this? Yes, smaller cars are unsafe when compared to larger ones.

Why stop at the accord then? Go get a used SUV, then you can destroy everyone that has a smaller car than you.....Makes me want to buy a hummer so I can T-Bone your *** and crush your ribcage and collapse your lungs.

But anyway yeah you are right, bigger is safer but at the expense of the other driver you nailed.

Think of this. If you are the one at fault, hopefully you aren't breaking the law when you hit the other person because if you kill them it will be manslaughter all thanks to the bigger safer car you chose.

Maybe if you had chose the civic they would be alive and you wouldn't have criminal charges.

You seem uptight about cars' sizes and safety, I'd get away from the hondas if I was you.

Well you asked people's thoughts on this so there you go.

You said thanks so I guess you are welcome.

Dude...You read my whole post and that's all you are going to say.

What a ****ing dummy.

For all of our sakes I hope you buy the civic. Better yet get the Fit, it's even smaller.

Why would you say am I on crack?

Everything I said makes sense.

You are the one that said like an idiot "ah I've heard small cars can be unsafe".....No **** sherlock!! Have you seen what happens when tractor trailers hit cars???? People die.....Now go buy the FIT and die!

Safety in the civic is amazing. I got into a nasty accident with a truck a few months ago and walked away with nothing but a bruise from the seatbelt. I've also seen some serious wrecks in these cars with minimal damage to the people driving.
