If you're going to do swap do it manual.. and I'm not too sure about the finer differences of a Type-S motor and an Si, but you might as well get the cheaper one because they both make power.. The Si motor most likely will have lower mileage tho..

I never understood why people buy FG1/FA1's aiming to swap an Si motor into it. Why not skip a step and get the Si to begin with?

And no one use the "its cheaper to do" bullshit. You want cheaper, go buy a hatch and drop a K in it. Or if you want an Si and cannot afford it, wait, make some money, then buy it.

/rant.

Moron....buy an Si that doesn't come in an "Si only" color, peel off the I-vtec sticker, take off the wing and you're set.

I have an inkling it's more your parents bought you the car and you can't sell it. So you are going to try to be sneaky by putting an SI motor in it.......

Buy a SI in a color that's not exclusive
Swap out the grille
Take off emblems
Change wheels
Take off exhaust tip

Is the MuffinMan right? Or is there another reasons why you think the LXS look is so great?

The bodies are identical.

The Si has more added to it.
