Default Lumpy Engine deceleration...........

Hey ho....
My gen 1 99 CRV (155,000km) has developed a trait of late that the engine deceleration from say, 2500 rpm in 2nd or first gear, the control of the idle/fuel control jerks the car around whereas the engine decay down to 1k rpm used to be non-intrusive. Now the rpm 'lumps' down..........

I have cleaned the idle control valve (but it doesn't gaurantee the actuator action is still smooth or as sensitive). The rear engine torque damper is weak and I suspect it may be a contributing factor.

I apologise if this doesn't describe it the way someone else may word it but it is sort of the way it feels.............it lumps down to idle under in-gear deceration........

Ta.

.........of course.....how silly,...forgot about that!

5spd manual.

It may be normal but just pronounced or more noticeable from the rear engine mount being weakened......but it doesn't show up with the engine warm.
