I am getting a new Koyo Radiator for my Integra and Id like to get the half sized one. I need one that has the correct size inlet and outlet to fit my stock hoses. Anyone know which application will work best. The motor is a LS/Vtec with a B16A2 head.

yes b16 radiator. The coolant hose wont be right if u used a eg radiator. U'll be clamping the **** out of b series hose to fit it on the small eg civic radiator. Follow ur own advice bro.

I believe you need a Del Sol VTEC B16 radiator. I think the Koyo part number has 1570 in it. The inlet/outlet should be 1 1/4" (32 mm). The regular D-series is 1 1/8" I believe.

This may be hard to find since most radiator places will send you one for a D-Series since they think it's all the same. Word of advice is to make sure you are getting the exact part number you order.

 

^I thought it was R1570 as well! I just needed to be sure. I've tried a D-Series before and I know it doesn't fit. I was just curious to know if the B16 del sol was still the half sized one.

 

From my research, a true Del Sol VTEC radiator is dual core as well. I know some guys run D-Series and just clamp the ends really hard. I'd rather have the extra core and allow normal coolant flow by having the correct inlet/outlet diameter. I just checked and saw that I ordered a Koyo C1570 which is all copper and painted black for my B swap in my Civic.

 

I use the stock 1/2 size Civic radiator in my boosted DC2. I had to make a roadside repair on my way to NOPI St. Louis back in 2007. My buddies called ahead from the little hick town to an Advanced Auto parts that was 10 miles back. I just inverted one of the radiator feet up, to accommodate the left side of the radiator and it was all good. Still running it today and the temps stay cool, through boosting and 90 degree Chicago days.
