Default Stock amp burned up. Best plan?

Ya the stock amp located in the trunk after several months of producing strange alien noises along with my music finally spewed smoke, blew its fuse, and ceased this mortal realm.

No I have no sound at all. I need a simple plan of action!

Replace or bypass or what?

I think people have bypassed these but I don't know how they went about doing this... there are a TON of wires coming from the thing.

So stupid why is that junk even there!?

I've never seen a factory amplifier in a CB, interesting. Why don't you get an aftermarket amp and hook it up?
