Default corrosion on coilovers

hey Im buying some coilovers and there some corrosion on the coilovers. Im wondering if i can use any anti corrosion solution but im not sure if the coilovers are damaged because of the corrosion. Let me know your input on it. Thanks

Hi a coil over is like any other shocks, check for oil leak and seal, and if there is rust on the piston shaft it is important to change it because it will ruin the inside seal and the whiper seal. The shock body can have surface rust, sand it up and repaint (por 15 a good choice). If it's a good quality coil over, everything should be rebuildable and valving adjustable.
