The engine jerks when releasing the clutch
I have an Accord 99 2DR EX with manual transmission. The engine jerks/shakes when realeasing the clutch on the 1st gear. I replaced the mounts - the jerking got way weaker but it is still there. The clucth was replaced by the previous owner (cannot guarantee the quality though).
When starting from 1-1.5k RPM it is fairly smooth, if highier the engine jerks for a moment, same if starting up the hill. I am very familiar with driving a manual transmission car and never seen anything like that.
I have a feeling the the clutch is releasing a little too early - too low on the clutch pedal but this is my first honda so I cannot compare.
Any ideas?
